Stove Installers

HETAS is the abbreviation for Heating Equipment Testing and Approval Scheme. It is the regulating body that controls installation & safety of multi fuel stoves and other solid fuel appliances in the UK. All Lakeland stove fitters are HETAS registered and are qualified and experienced stove installers.

The advantage of using an installer who is a HETAS registered is that you do not need to notify building control - the installer registers the installation with HETAS and the installation is then deemed satisfactory and legal. The costs of notifying building control when an installation has not been completed by a HETAS registered installer can be considerable.
